The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) have started their Major League Soccer campaign very well. They are only the second MLS expansion team to win their opener. They went away to defeat Seattle Sounders 1-0 following the footsteps of Chicago Fire in 1998. Funny thing is both teams were coached by Bob Bradley.
It has been a nice start but they are set to meet with Real Salt Lake. Real Salt Lake played a 1-1 draw with FC Dallas at the Toyota Stadium so they would be keen on victory in their first home game. Real Salt Lake played well with Nick Rimando impressing. Joao Plata scored in the first half but they thwarted their effort by an own goal by Marcelo Silva.
