Minnesota United had a horror debut to the MLS after conceding 11 goals in the opening two matches.

Since then, the team’s defence has improved substantially, although they have still conceded four goals in the last two matches. A 2-0 loss against FC Dallas at the Toyota stadium might seem like yet another disappointing result, but the team can take a lot of positives from the match. After the game, defender Marc Burch claimed that Minnesota United could have prevented the two goals that the club conceded today. Such has been the improvement over the last couple of matches.
After recently being brought in from Colorado Rapids, Sam Cronin and Marc Burch may turn out to be key players for the club. It is only after their arrival that the club’s defensive form has been looking up.
